Terms & Conditions

We want our customers to enjoy their driving experiences so we’ve written our terms and conditions carefully in order to avoid misunderstandings which could detract from your enjoyment. Please make sure you thoroughly read the following terms and conditions.

Revision 2.1 applicable for transactions made on or after 20th April 2021.

Our Website:

Experience Descriptions

Details of each experience are described on our website and the information provided is correct at the time of publication, however, the content or format of experiences may change as we continually strive to improve our experiences and act on feedback from our customers. When details change, we will ensure that the website is updated to reflect the changes.

Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, so details of experiences may change between the purchasing of a voucher and the redemption of a voucher.

On rare occasions, for safety reasons such as extreme weather conditions or technical issues, events are subject to the occasional rescheduling or cancellation and if this happens you will be advised and offered an alternative as near as possible to the original.

See the section on Changes to Events for more information.

Event Prices and Vouchers

Event prices are correct at the time of publication but may change at any time.

If event-specific vouchers are purchased, they will be valid for the event even if the current advertised price has increased since the purchase of the voucher. If the advertised price of an event has decreased since the purchase of a voucher, no refunds will be offered.

If a value specific voucher has been purchased, then this can be redeemed against events based on the advertised price of an event at the date of redemption. If the value of the event or events is more than the voucher value then the difference must be paid at the point of redemption. If the value of the event or events is less than the voucher value unfortunately the balance can not be refunded. However, if you contact our customer service team we can reissue the unused amount in the form of a new voucher.

Vouchers are valid for twelve months from the date of purchase. They must be redeemed during this period although the event that they are redeemed against may fall outside of this period. We advise you to make your booking at least 4- 8 weeks before your event to avoid disappointment.

Changes to Events

We reserve the right to make changes to the cars or events, although this will be rare. Sometimes at short notice, it may be necessary to reschedule the cars/timing and/or location of experience, due to availability, booking numbers, safety, technical problems, weather conditions or other factors beyond our control. We cannot be held liable for any personal costs incurred in any of these circumstances.

Similarly, we reserve the right to withdraw the supply of an event without notice due to the unavailability of the venue, extreme weather conditions or safety concerns.

Once you have booked your date, we will reserve your car, instructor and circuit time. If you then choose to cancel, you will be in breach of contract and we reserve the right to retain all monies paid.

From time to time there may be situations that are out of our control, we cannot pay compensation, damages, expenses, costs, losses or any other amount of any description or otherwise accept responsibility for you not being able to attend your event in such circumstances which will usually include, war, terrorist activity, civil unrest, natural or nuclear disaster, bad weather and all similar circumstances, and in all such cases whether, actual or threatened.

You are advised not to make travel, hotel or other arrangements until you have received joining instructions and you have received your confirmed scheduled times. Note that at the point of booking the times given represent the estimated start time of a 2 to 3 hour session and this is not your actual scheduled time.

We will try to provide an experience, location or suitable alternative wherever possible. In the unlikely event that an alternative cannot or is not offered, a full refund will be available at our discretion.

If alternatives have been offered and dates are available, no refunds will be offered.

Insurance and Indemnities

All our experiences involve some element of risk and danger and every customer is covered by our standard public liability insurance. You may wish to take out additional cover over and above that which is provided. Accordingly, you are advised to consider insurance cover for personal accident, loss of limb and even death or indemnity cover for damage caused to any vehicles on your event before embarking on your experience. Emergency Vehicle Hire Limited is not responsible for any risks not specifically covered by its own insurance and on arrival at your venue, you will be asked to sign an Activity Registration Form which includes a driver’s indemnity. Without signing this agreement, you will not be able to take part.

Drivers are responsible for any the cost of repair of any damage caused to a vehicle that they are driving unless we deem that the damage was caused by another driver or as a result of the negligence of one of our staff. This is limited to a maximum of £5,000.

At the point of purchase, and at any point, up to and including registration at the event the customer has the option to purchase a Collision Damage Waiver. If the customer has paid for this option the liability for the £5,000 damage excess described above will transfer to the Company. However, as described in the driver’s indemnity agreement, the damage waiver is void if the driver is found to be driving negligently or dangerously or contrary to the instructions of our staff. Drivers will also be required to disclose any illness or disability whether permanent or temporary which will affect their control of the vehicles being driven or their ability to understand instructions being given to them.

The Collision Damage Waiver will be considered to be void if the driver has not disclosed any medical conditions required above, or if they are under the influence of drugs, alcohol or other substances that may affect their driving.

Please note; we have a no spin rule. If you lose control or damage a vehicle, your experience will be terminated, and all further drives forfeited.

We do not offer refunds on driving experiences or gift vouchers unless they were purchased with our flexible cancellation cover. Online purchases of merchandise can be returned within fourteen days. We do not accept refunds of goods bought in person unless they are faulty. Statutory rights are not affected.
